1 person was killed and 11 people were injured when a pick-up jeep carrying passengers from Burtiwang market fell off the road and fell into a field.

Zip number 01-001 Ch 1775 of Lumbini Province at Batsedanda of Dhorpatan Municipality-5 on Friday around 5:30 pm 

Deputy Superintendent of Police Basant Pandey informed that it fell 50 meters from the road.

A team from the area police office Burtiwang reached the scene. The process of bringing the injured to Burtiwang Hospital for treatment has started.

 The accident site is 97 km west of the capital.
