40-year-old Amar Gurung of Viruwa Rural Municipality-6, who is absconding after the verdict of District Court Syangja in the drug case, has been arrested.

The court's decision on Monday sentenced him to one year and one month in prison and a fine of Rs 6,000.

According to Pravesh Tiwari, Acting Information Officer of the District Police Office, Gurung, who was arrested on the same day, was handed over to the District Court Syangja for payment of imprisonment on Tuesday.
