A teenage girl died due to electric shock in Ghiring rural municipality-4 Gadyaulitar of the district on Monday. According to the district police, the deceased is Nirmala, the 15-year-old daughter of local Chitra Bahadur Kumal.

According to District Police Deputy Superintendent Ashok Thapa, Nirmala was electrocuted when she suddenly touched the main line while cutting grass from a peepal tree in the garden about 500 meters north of the house. Deputy Superintendent of Police Thapa said that the injured was taken to GP Koirala National Respiratory Treatment Center Belchautara for treatment and he died during treatment. District Police Office Tanahun has informed that further investigation is underway regarding the

incident.
