Three people have been arrested by the police for beating Krishna Prasad Angai of Shahid Lakhan Rural Municipality-8 Bunkot. Angai, who is also a businessman of Kritika construction services, was accused by the police of beating him with a helmet, stones etc. Arrested.

Sujal Thapa alias Roshan Thapa Chhetri, 29 years old from Gandaki-4 Dhave, Pushpaprasad Devkota, 19 years old and Dayaram Pant, 24 years old from Gandaki-3 Amdanda, were arrested on Monday, said DSP Indra Prasad Subedi of District Police Office Gorkha. He also said that a case was registered against the accused in the Gorkha district court on Tuesday in industrial crime causing death and an investigation is being conducted with permission to extend the deadline. 

On Friday, he was brutally beaten by local youths while returning home from the upgradation work site of the Batase-Fuzel-Amdanda-Pauwa road section on the border of Gandaki and Shaheed Lakhan Rural Municipality.
