The Chief Minister of Gandaki Province, Surendra Raj Pandey, has said that the regulations related to 'ride sharing' will be implemented after one month.
Pandey, who came to the opening ceremony of Gandaki state-level President's Running Shield competition on Monday, said in a conversation with journalists that he had taken a month to listen to the transporters and negotiate.
"We have made a ride sharing regulation, while implementing it, the transport businessmen have shown some concern, they even went on strike," he said, "If there is anything else, we have taken a month to listen and negotiate regarding the regulation." "If there is a concern within the regulations and there is a condition of the provincial government that can address it, we will also address it, if not, the process of implementing the ride sharing regulations will start after one month," he said.
Similarly, while addressing the opening ceremony of the competition, Pandey said that efforts are also being made to build an international level playground in Gandaki province. He said that the games held within the province will help promote sports tourism. He said that it is also possible to make sports a means of livelihood without other professions. "Those who are passionate about sports should try to make it a career," he said.
