Fees of disabled citizens and their families will be collected in Lamjung. The Nepal Blind Association in coordination with the Lamjung Blind Association is going to count the citizens with disabilities across the district and collect data about their condition.

75 enumerators have been appointed in all 75 wards of Lamjung for the counting of disabled citizens. Lamjung Blind Association President Rajendra Ghimire said that a 3-day training for them has been started from Sunday in Bensi Sahar. According to him, after training for 3 days, the enumerators will go to the ward and take the data within 2 months.

According to Lamjung Rehabilitation Field Officer Prem Maharjan, the work project for inclusive development, the counting of disabled citizens is going to be done in coordination with the ward office. According to him, the enumerators will take the data of disabled citizens and their families using an application called 'Cobo Tool'. In the training, we teach the calculators about disabilities, types of disabilities, Kobo tool, how to fill data in it. The enumerator will collect data through the tool throughout the day. Some time in the evening they will run the internet and verify and post," he said.

Kobo tool operation expert Maheshwar Ghimire, Vishnu Pokhrel on disability and eye assistant Shri Prasad Dhakal will provide training. According to the Lamjung Blind Association, about 60 questions prepared in Kobo Tool will be discussed and the enumerators will be informed about how to fill them.

Social Development Office Head Mitakumari Thapa said that the office has been conducting awareness programs, orientation, and distribution of aid for disabled citizens.
