A 6-year-old boy died after being attacked by a leopard in Bandipur rural municipality-2 Kuwadi of the district.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Ashok Thapa informed that Dal Bahadur Gurung's 6-year-old son Utsav died when a leopard attacked him while he was sitting in the yard of his house at around 7:30 pm on Monday evening.

A child who was seriously injured in a leopard attack was taken to Bandipur Hospital for immediate treatment and the doctor declared him dead.

In Tanahun, children have been falling under the attack of leopards. Leopard terror has been seen in Bhanu, Byas, Shuklagandaki municipality, Bandipur, Anvukhaireni rural municipality of the district. In Tanahun, 14 children have died due to leopard attacks in a period of about 6 years.
