District Police Office Parasi has seized illegal goods worth more than 1 crore during the last one month.

Various police units and patrol teams seized the illegally imported goods from the Indian border bordering West Nawalparasi. According to the information officer of the district police office, Veer Dutt Pant, during one month, illegal goods worth Rs. Among the recovered items are glass, cover earphones which are mostly used in mobile phones. 

Similarly, there are goods including tiles to be laid on the ground worth 26 lakh 59 thousand rupees. According to the police, grocery items worth more than 12 lakh 54 thousand, fancy goods worth more than 8 lakh 77 thousand, animal products worth 2 lakh 86 thousand, brass idols worth 1 lakh 63 thousand and hardware worth more than 2 lakh 65 thousand were seized, said information officer Pant. Those goods have been sent to the customs office.
