Construction businessman Krishna Angai was beaten up. He was beaten up by local youths on Friday while returning home from the construction site of Batase-Fuzel-Amdanda-Pauwa road section upgrading work on the border of Gandaki and Shaheed Lakhan Rural Municipality.
While returning from the construction site, the youths stopped the motorbike riding in the Khamare river and beat them up using helmets, sticks and sharp stones, the Association of Construction Professionals said in a statement on Saturday. "Some young men stopped their motorbikes and beat them to death," the statement said.
construction professionals have also been requested to arrange for the operation of the work in a fear-free environment. The injured Angai was referred to Kathmandu after treatment at Gorkha Hospital. Angai is the proprietor of Kritika Construction Services.
