8 absconding defendants have been arrested after the judgment of District Court Syangja in banking offense and check dishonor case. They were arrested on Thursday during the Syangja Police's campaign to build a safe and just society by making the execution of the court decision swift, correct and effective, to complete the judicial process.

According to DSP Prashannaraj Chowdhury, the spokesperson of the district police office, the arrested defendant has been produced in the district court. According to the police, a revenue of 1 crore 61 lakh 8 thousand 442 rupees will be collected from them.

According to the police, among those arrested, Bhim Bahadur Vishwakarma has been sentenced to 23 days imprisonment and Batti Vick has been sentenced to 1 day imprisonment. Bhim was fined Rs 80 lakh for the banking offence, while Batti was fined Rs 1 lakh. Similarly, Kamala KC was fined 79 lakh 88 thousand and Shivlal Lamsal was fined 16 thousand 750 for the banking offence.

According to the data given by the police, a fine of Rs 2,000 was imposed on Jhavnath Bhandari, Rs 1,000 on Amraj Gurung, Rs 582 on Gangamaya Gurungseni and Rs 110 on Dhal Bahadur Sunar in the case of assault.
