One person died and 7 others were injured when an ambulance carrying a patient and a school van collided at Dumkauli Chowk in East Nawalparasi.

According to the local police office, Razhar, Kul Prasad Subedi, the driver of the school van, died in an accident on Monday morning. He was 52 years old.

The police informed that an ambulance carrying patients and going to Narayangadh and a van carrying students of Divya Academy School collided.

The police said that the injured were rescued and sent for treatment.
