Two people were arrested with illegal weapons from Ambukhaireni rural municipality-4 Benitar on Thursday afternoon. According to the district police office, Milan Dhakal, 25, of Gaindakot Municipality-12, Nawalparasi (East of Bardghat Susta) and Vijay Tiwari, 32, of Madi Municipality-7, Chitwan, were arrested.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Ashok Thapa said that one pistol, one magazine and one bullet with the inscription Special Made in USA 771 were recovered from them.

While checking the motorcycle No. 28P1519 coming from Mullin towards Ambukhaireni, a pistol was found hidden in a bag full of Dhakal. According to the District Police Office, both of the arrested persons have been arrested and further investigation is being done by the office.
