Kawasoti Municipality has instructed to remove hoarding boards placed haphazardly between the roads of East-West Mahendra Highway within seven days.
The municipality issued a notice saying that the hoarding boards placed voluntarily on the highways and chowks are causing inconvenience to the traffic and also adding ugliness to the beauty of the municipality.
In the notice issued by Leelaraj Paudel, Chief Administrative Officer of Kawasoti Municipality, which is the district headquarters, it is mentioned that action will be taken if the board is not removed within the specified time. A year and a half after local businessmen, organizations and clubs hung boards in the middle of the highway and at intersections for their propaganda purposes, the municipality issued a notice and ordered to remove them for the first time.
