7 people were injured in an accident that took place on Tuesday morning near Gorechoutara, Bandipur rural municipality-4 of Tanahun under the Prithvi highway. According to District Police Office Tanahun, seven people were injured when a bus and a tipper collided.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Ashok Thapa said that six people on the bus and seven people including the tipper driver were injured when the bus numbered Province 1-01-001K4152 from Rukum-West and the tipper number B.P.01-001A-YO 0027 coming from the opposite direction collided.
One of the injured has been sent to Chitwan Medical College for further treatment, while the rest of the injured are being treated at Lakshmi Hospital in Dumre, the District Police Office has informed.
