The Gandaki state government has recommended to the state chief to convene the barkhe (budget) session of the state assembly on May 11. Economic Affairs Minister and Government Spokesperson Takaraj Gurung informed that Tuesday's cabinet meeting decided to recommend calling the session at 2 pm on that day.

In this convention, the policies and programs of the next fiscal year, the budget will be presented and discussed. The last session of the state assembly lasted for two months and ended on March 26.
