Down road under Mahendra Highway, which was blocked due to rain on Tuesday morning, has been operated one-way. According to the information given by the Butwal-Narayangadh road project office, the train going to Narayangadh via Bardghat was operated from 5 pm on Tuesday.
The vehicle going from Narayangadh via Dumkiwas to Bardghat Butwal could not move due to the slippery road. The condition of the road leading from Dumkiwas towards West Butwal is also similar.
District Police Chief Yadav Dhakal said that traffic is being operated because the road in Daunne Pahad coming from west to east is somewhat easier. According to him, a mortar has been prepared to put gravel in the mud of the river.
At 11 a.m., the traffic was stopped at Downe Hill after it rained. From the afternoon, the train going west to East Narayangadh has been operating.
Hundreds of vehicles traveling east-west have stopped at Dumkiwas even till 5 o'clock on Tuesday afternoon.
