"One house, one stream" has been constructed in Baglung Municipality-13 Kavredanda. In this village, which has been suffering from drinking water problem for a long time, a house and a stream have been built by bringing water from the spring which is about 100 meters down through lifting. The local residents are happy after the water has been built in every house.
By drawing water through lifting, two water tanks of 6,000 and 8,000 liters have been constructed in the village and water has been distributed in the village.
8 lakh 84 thousand 690 of Baglung municipality, 11 lakh 73 thousand 50 of water for Nepal health (Neva) and 4 lakh 2 thousand 960 of Jan Shramdan have been built at a total cost of 24 lakh 60 thousand 700.
Nepal Water for Health (Neva) Baglung Program Officer Vinod Koirala said that since there has been a severe shortage of drinking water in this village for a long time, a house and a stream have been constructed in collaboration with Baglung Municipality. He said that the plan which started on July 15th was completed on May 15th. 21 Koirala says that water has started flowing after installing the tap in the house.
He said, 'There has been a problem of drinking water in this village for a long time, now everyone has a tap in their house, the locals who have been suffering from lack of drinking water for a long time are now happy.
Manrupa Devi Rizal, the treasurer of the Kavredanda Lift Water Supply Organization, said that daily life is affected when there is a shortage of water supply in the village. He says that he has been consuming water from three public taps in the village for about a decade. He said that when the water came in the stream only in the morning, he had to keep it filled for two days.
