Kaligandaki Corridor: Rahughat-Tatopani 14 km black paper

Under the Beni-Jomsom-Korla road plan, 14 km of tarmac has been laid on the Rahughat-Tatopani section. In 2074, an agreement was signed with a construction company for 66 crores to blacken the 19 km road from Raghuganga Rural Municipality-3 Rahughat to Annapurna Rural Municipality-2 Vhurung Tatopani Nagadhunga in Myagdi.

According to the construction company, 14 km black sheet has been completed in Rahupare-Baisari-Kunauta-Begkhola-Kaliodar-Tiplang-Mahbhir-Bhirkate-Ghar Baisari-Ratopani-Pokhrebagar-Bhurung Tatopani section.

After widening the road by 11 meters and preparing the drains and walls for water drainage, the road was blacked. The four hundred and thirty-five kilometer long Kaligandaki Corridor from Maldhunga in the mountains through Myagdi to reach Korla in Mustang, a 202-kilometer two-lane road has started to be paved from the financial year 2073/74.  So far, its physical progress has been 85 percent.
