General Secretary of Nepal Communist Party (Maoist Center) Devprasad Gurung has said that there should be a judicial inquiry into the alleged irregularities during the construction of Pokhara International Airport.
In a press conference organized by Nepal Kaski Press Center in Pokhara today, he said that a judicial investigation should be conducted based on the report given by the parliamentary investigation sub-committee recently.
General Secretary Gurung said, 'The parliamentary committee has given a policy report on Pokhara Airport. Based on this, a judicial investigation should be conducted with legal experts, engineers, technicians and researchers and the culprits should become partners in the action.'
He said that the Maoist center will always support and support the good work done by the current government, which is made up of two major parties Nepali Congress and CPN (UML). 'We are not a traditional competitor. We support or oppose the government based on its merits and demerits. "We don't oppose the government when it does good work, but even with a strong government with two leaders, it has not been able to do good work," said General Secretary Gurung.
He pointed out the need for fellow travelers of the peace agreement to stay together to defeat the regressive conspiracy in the country, for national unity and independence.
