A young man from Kawasoti 16 Danda of East Nawalparasi who went to Portugal for employment has died. Family sources said that 25-year-old Vijay Pariyar died in the hospital during treatment. Pariyar, who went to Croatia after receiving a labor permit in 2021, entered Portugal three months later.

Nim Bahadur Pariyar, the father of the deceased Pariyar, said that during the treatment of Pariyar, who had been working in an agricultural firm in Portugal for four years, the news of his death came on 11th Baisakh.

The family, who is saddened by the death of their son, has requested the government and the Nepali society in Portugal to bring the body to Nepal. "He knew that his son was sick, his father used to tell him not to worry, he said, "The news of his son's death came on Thursday. I want to see my son's face. I request everyone to help bring the body to Nepal in any way.' 

The news of the death of a 25-year-old Lakka young son has left the family and the entire village in mourning. He came home in the previous Dasain and returned to Portugal after Tihar . Nim Bahadur's father said that even when he came to Nepal, he was told that he would be treated abroad even though he had problems with his health.

Kawasoti 15 ward president Anand Shrestha said that necessary facilitation has been done to bring the body of the deceased Pariyar to Nepal. The Ward Office has written to Nawalpur Contact Society and requested for necessary legal and technical assistance. Pariyar, who had taken medicine after a health check-up in Nepal, fell ill shortly after reaching Portugal.
