Two people who died when a microbus and a scooter collided today in Bhanu Municipality-10 Kalimati of Tanahun under the Dumre-Bensisahar road section have been identified.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Ashok Thapa informed that 40-year-old Man Ghale of Narfu Rural Municipality-8 of Manang and 32-year-old Anita Thapa Shrestha of Benisahar Municipality-8 of Lamjung who were riding the microbus were killed when the microbus numbered Ba 2 B 4022 heading towards Dumre collided with the scooter numbered C 26 P 4058 coming from the opposite direction.

Ghale died at Model Community Hospital Sundarbazar in Lamjung and Shrestha died at Provincial Hospital Damauli. 41-year-old Dipendra Shrestha of Bensisahar Municipality-8, a scooter driver seriously injured in the accident, has been sent to Chitwan Medical College for treatment. 

78-year-old Krishnakumari Pandey, 43-year-old Tithkumari Thapa and 32-year-old Manika Gurung of Benisahar-2 Bhakumthok are being treated at Lakshmi Hospital Dumre and others are being treated at Bhoteodar Hospital in Siudibar.
