Due to rain, the highway has been blocked in Daunne due to slippage. According to the District Police Office, the blocked road has not been opened since 1 pm on Thursday.

Country's  Lifeline  Between Bardghat and Dumkibas of East Nawalparasi under Mahendra Highway, The remaining 14 km section has been blocked. Hundreds of passengers are stranded when the highway is blocked. 

The police said that the dust released during the widening of the highway caused the vehicle to move due to the movement after the rain.
