One person was killed and another was injured in a tip collision in Mygde Rural Municipality-1 Fusrekhola under Prithviraj Marg on Saturday. The deceased has been identified as 18-year-old Manish Ale Magar of Byas Municipality-6, according to the district police.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Ashok Thapa said that a tipper number 1 B 5875 coming from Pokhara towards Damauli and a scooter number 25 P 5522 coming from the opposite direction collided with each other.
The scooter driver Manish who was injured in the accident and the 15-year-old Anisha Ale Magar who was riding behind the scooter were injured and sent to the state hospital in Damauli for treatment. According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Thapa, Manish was declared dead by the doctor during treatment.
Injured Anisha has been referred to Gandaki Medical College Pokhara for further treatment. District Police Office has informed that further investigation is underway regarding the said incident.
