20 passengers were killed when a bus overturned on the Dumre-Bensisahar road section of the district on Friday.
Bus No. G1K 6498 going from Dumre Bazar to Lamjung Bensisahar, Bhanu Municipality-1 Moharia got out of control and overturned. According to the police, 4 of the injured are in serious condition. are They are being treated at Chitwan Medical College. Sixteen others are being treated at Lakshmi Hospital and Moti Medical in Dumre. Deputy Superintendent of Police Ashok Thapa informed that the driver was absconding after the incident.
'We are looking for the car loaner and the driver', he said, 'It has been confirmed that the bus is operated by the Kalika Bus Business Committee.'
