'If such heroes of the nation are to be paid, with what morale will the employees work?'
Hari Bahadur Bhandari, a member of the Gandaki Provincial Assembly, has protested in the Parliament wearing black glasses on the removal of Kulman Ghising as the Executive Director of Nepal Electricity Authority. Maoist MP Bhandari protested by wearing dark glasses while participating in the theoretical discussion of the bill to make arrangements for electricity development in Gandaki province in the provincial assembly meeting on Tuesday.
Speaker Krishna Prasad Dhital was not wearing glasses when he gave time to speak. Goji put on his glasses as he began to speak at the rostrum. He also criticized the government for taking action on the hero of load-shedding-free Nepal.
He said that the Prime Minister did not like Kulman to sit in the chair of the authority leaving out his relatives. While he was speaking, Speaker Dhital alerted him to speak on the subject. Then MP Bhandari proceeded to discuss the bill.
MP Bhandari violated the rules 20 and 22 of the Gandaki State Assembly Rules, 2080, and the UML objected to the rules according to the rule 25 . UML Chief Whip Gobind Bahadur Nepali demanded that MP Bhandari's speech be removed from the record of the Parliament saying that he had violated the rule 20 (d) and rule 22 of affiliation. In rule 20 (d) it is mentioned that indecent, obscene, insulting, objectionable words should not be spoken and in rule 22 (1) it is mentioned that what is being said in the provincial assembly should be related to the subject under consideration .
Chief whip Nepali claimed that the term 'Prime Minister's coat' is grossly objectionable. "The word 'Salo' of the Prime Minister is a grossly objectionable word. I want to challenge, during the election, Prachanda walked past Kulman Ghisingh's photo near his comrades," he said, "what is their relationship and relationship as a party? Is Kulman Ghising the leader of the Maoist center?'
After UML's objection, Speaker Dhital asked him to discuss this matter later and create an atmosphere to proceed with the meeting. Then the meeting proceeded .
MP Bhandari said that he protested symbolically after the person who should be respected was insulted . If such heroes of the nation are to be paid, with what morale will the employees work? Whoever has faith in any party, such people have been insulted to be respected. That's why I protested symbolically," he told Kantipur.
