The counting of votes of Prithvi Narayan Campus, Prithvi Narayan Campus, the country's largest private campus under Tribhuvan University, has started. Voting started from 9:30 AM on Monday, election officer Prof. Ramchandra Pokharel informed.
2 thousand 896 people (31.24 percent) and 2 thousand 892 people (31.19 percent) participated in the voting on Sunday. There were 9,270 voters in this campus. In a joint meeting with all associations/organizations, panels and independent candidates, it was agreed to start the counting of votes from 8 am on Monday.
Prithvi Narayan campus is participating in 8 direct and 9 proportional union/organization/panel elections. Navin Adhikari from Akhil (Revolutionary), Milan Sunar from ANERASWAVIU (6th), Dipsan Gurung from Pragya Vidyarthi Parishad Nepal, Sushil Neupane from Nepal Vidyarthi Sangh, Santosh Paudel from Joint Panel, Vishnu Pokharel from ANERASWAVIU are the candidates for the president of SWVAIU. Kamal Subedi and Biplavi Neupane are independent candidates.
On the proportional side, Akhil (Revolutionary), Aneraswaviyu, Pragya Vidyarthi Parishad Nepal, Akhil (Sixth), Akhil (Revolutionary) Vaidya, Nepal Vidyarthi Sangh, Aneraswaviyu, Akhil (Socialist) and Naya Shakti Vidyarthi Union nominated candidates. After
065, Swaviyu elections could not be held in this campus . This year, voting was postponed twice on Chait 5 and 6 due to the error in the ballot paper and the lockdown.
Prithvi Narayan Campus's Swaviyu leaders have been established in national politics, so the president of Swaviyu here is very important . Former state chief Somnath Adhikari Payasi, former home minister Khagraj Adhikari, former health minister Padam Giri, former minister Mr. Rabindra Adhikari, former President of National Youth Association Rajeev Pahari, Mayor of Pokhara Metropolitan City Dhanraj Acharya is the president of Swaviyu of this campus. Former speaker Krishna Bahadur Mahara is the treasurer of Swaviyu from 040/41.
