Bensisahar-Chame road blocked due to dry landslide

The Bensi Sahar-Chame road has been blocked due to a dry landslip under the guise of box cutting near Octopus Falls in Chamche, Marsyangdi Rural Municipality-4 of Lamjung.

According to the locals and the police, around 12:00 noon on Monday, a landslide occurred in the northern part of Box Cutting, sweeping away the road from above. Baburam Tamang of Chamche said that the movement of vehicles and people was not possible due to the fall.

DSP Resham Bohra of the district police office said that the police had been deployed as soon as the landslide was reported. According to him, the work of opening the road has been started by using breakers and other machines.

Dry After the landslide, the vehicles coming from Manang towards Lamjung and the vehicles going from Bensi Sahar to Manang have stopped on the right and left side of the landslide.

The place where the landslide occurred is about 32 kilometers from Bensi Sahar, the headquarters of Lamjung, towards Manang.
