A woman died in a jeep accident that happened on Sunday morning in Majkaet located in Walling municipality-5 of Syangja. District Police Chief Shaligram Sharma informed that 48-year-old Dilsara Ale of Walling-7 Hillepani died on the spot.

At 7:30 this morning, the jeep numbered 1 J 7511, which was going from Walling to Chapakat, fell down 150 meters. Syangja police said that it is not known what caused the jeep to fall.

According to the police, Dilsara's identity was done by his younger son. Dilsara went to Walling on Saturday to visit a sick relative. He has two sons and a daughter-in-law. 27-year-old Suraj Thapa, the jeep driver Chapakot Municipality-3, resident of Inaskot, and currently living in Walling-11, is absconding. The police said that they are investigating his whereabouts. It is not yet clear how many passengers were in the jeep.
