In the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) which started today, the least number of students in the country have participated from Manang.
On the first day, on Thursday, a total of 41 people, including one student, took the exam in compulsory English.
Dhruv Prasad Koirala, Head of Education Development and Coordination Unit Manang, said that 1 regular student was not present out of 42 students. According to him, on the first day, 22 female students and 19 male students participated in the examination. There is 1 student with slow mind and he has been given half an hour more time.
The students of 3 schools across the district have taken the exam from only one center, the popular Mavi Chame center. There are 15 candidates from popular universities in the exam. According to the center, out of 2 students from the popular Mavi Khula, 1 student gave the exam and 1 student was absent.
21 people from Prakash Jyoti High School in Nason in Lower Manang are participating in the exam. 4 people from Annapurna High School in Upper Manang are participating in the exam. Chief District Officer Matrika Acharya said that the examination is being conducted in a peaceful manner.
