Election Officer Ramchandra Pokharel informed that the polling was postponed as per the opinion of the representatives of the union organization and independent candidates as it would delay the start of voting by printing new ballot papers.

Naveen Adhikari from Akhil (Revolutionary), Milan Sunar from Akhil (Sixth), Dipsan Gurung from Pragyan Vidyarthi Parishad Nepal, Sushil Neupane from Nepal Student Union, Santosh Poudel from Joint Panel, Vishnu Pokharel from Anerasvayuyu are candidates for Swaviyu president. Kamal Subedi and Biplavi Neupane are independent candidates.
