The newly constructed bridge was inaugurated on Tuesday at Kharkhola in Dhungetari, Palungtar Municipality-9. The construction of the bridge was completed with 7 months remaining in the contract period. Chief Minister of Gandaki Province Surendraraj Pandey inaugurated the newly constructed bridge.
Under the Daskilo-Dhungetari-Birdi-Shera road section, bridge construction was started in Dhungetari on 27th Chait 2080. Ganesh Subedi, Head of Infrastructure Office, Gorkha, said that the bridge contract, which was agreed to be completed by October 26, has been completed with seven months remaining.
Ganesh Amrit JV was responsible for the construction of the bridge. Subedi said that the bridge was built at a cost of 2.75 million 90 thousand. He informed that even though the construction of the bridge has been completed, the contractor has been paid Rs. "The remaining amount is in the process of payment," he said. 
With the construction of a bridge of 25.56 meters length and 8.40 meters width, the residents of Palungtar-9, 10 and 6 have become easy to reach Gorkha headquarters and Kathmandu. Milan Khadka, the representative of the contractor company, was honored at the opening ceremony of the
bridge.
