Students protest back in Nawalpur, demand elections on Chait 5

In East Nawalparasi, the protesting students' organizations have withdrawn all the programs of the agitation regarding the issue of the Swaviyu elections. 4 student organizations that have agreed to stop the lockout and hunger strike have agreed to hold elections on Chait 5.

Navy Sangh, Aneraswaviyu, Aneraswaviyu Revolutionary and Socialist Aneraswaviyu have issued a joint statement that the agitation has been postponed from today and requested the public campus association to hold elections on 5th of Chait.  In a

statement, Public Campus Union expressed regret for postponing the election without discussing it with the student body, and demanded to start the election process, said Hari Subedi, president of Navy Sangh Nawalpur. In a statement signed by Navy Sangh district president Hari Subedi, Aneraswaviyu district president Sougat Bhusal, Akhil Krantikari district president Ayush Dhakal and Aneraswaviyu district president Vishal Thapa, it is mentioned that there is cooperation, unity and continuous dialogue between the student organizations for the elections. Guru Subedi, President of Public Campus Association Nawalpur, said that since the process did not proceed according to the scheduled schedule of the election, the rest of the process will be carried forward after discussing with the Student Welfare Branch of the University.
