The Congress, UML, Maoists and United Socialists have demanded that the independent student union elections be held at the appointed time in East Nawalparasi. The district leadership of the ruling partner party and the opposition party made this demand after the student union organization locked down various campuses in the district and the election activities did not proceed as per the schedule.
