10 people fell ill on Saturday after eating wild mushrooms in Beas municipality of the district. According to the district police, Guru Bahadur Pulami of Shantoli located in Byas-6 along with his family fell ill after eating wild mushrooms.
According to the police, 30-year-old Narayan Magar of Myagde Rural Municipality-6 picked wild mushrooms growing in the garden. He took them to the house of 63-year-old uncle Guru Bahadur Pulami, who lives in Shantitol. His family members got sick after eating mushrooms.
Damauli Hospital is undergoing treatment after 10 people who ate wild mushrooms developed nausea, diarrhoea, and runny nose. According to the District Police Office, further investigation is underway regarding the
incident.
