Barpak Sulkot Rural Municipality has announced a cash prize for the students who get the best marks in the SEE examination to be held on the 7th of Chait.

The municipality has announced to give a prize of 1 lakh to students who get 4.0 GPA from schools within the municipality.

Similarly, the rural municipality said that students who get 3.90-3.99 GPA will be given 50,000 cash, and those who get 3.80-3.81 GPA will give 25,000 cash. The municipality has announced to give 20,000 to those who get 3.70-3.79 GPA and 15,000 to those who get 3.60-3.69.

Chairman of the rural municipality Bishnu Bhatt said that it was decided in the executive meeting on January 25th to provide cash as an incentive to the students who get the best marks. 

"We have announced this to encourage students", he said. Bhatt says that this program will be continued next year as well. 371 students from 10 secondary schools of Barpak Sulikot rural municipality are participating in this year's SEE exam, 298 regular students and 73 students from advanced grades.
