One person died and 14 others were injured in a microbus accident in Gorkha today. According to the police, 37-year-old Padam Bahadur Darzi of Tandi Parsa, Chitwan, Khairhani Municipality-2, died when the microbus crashed while returning from visiting the Mankamana temple.
The 'On Test EV' Micro Shahid Lakhan Rural Municipality-3, which was coming from Mankamana towards Ambukhaireni, met with an accident in Kantar.
14 people including the driver were injured in the accident. DSP Indra Prasad Subedi of District Police Office Gorkha said that they met with a micro accident while they were returning from visiting the Mankamana temple.
26-year-old Sumit Chaudhary of Tandi Parsa, Chitwan Khairhani Municipality-2, 50-year-old Harikala Pariyar, 29-year-old Geeta Pariyar, 10-year-old Ritesh Pariyar, 13-year-old Sandhya Pariyar, 25-year-old Rupa Pariyar, 20-year-old Sanjita Ale, 35-year-old Pramila Rana were injured.
Similarly, 43-year-old Vimala Pariyar, 31-year-old Raju Pariyar, 18-year-old Suvana Pariyar, 21-year-old Abhishesh Pariyar, 26-year-old Anisa Pariyar and 36-year-old Arjun Pariyar were also injured.
The injured are being treated at Ambukhaireni Hospital in Tanahun. The micro fell about 15 meters from the road and met with an accident.
