The families of 86 martyrs have been honored in memory of those who were martyred on 15th February 2052.
Conflict Victims Network East Nawalparasi has honored. The president of Conflict Victims Network East Nawalparasi Parvati Sigdel said that the state has not yet been able to ensure an environment where women, girls and families of martyrs can live with self-respect and participate in the decision-making process.
Baburam Bishwakarma, head of District Coordination Committee East Nawalparasi, said that instead of remembering only one day in memory of the martyrs who sacrificed for the sake of the country, the state should pay attention to the literal observance of the laws made for the welfare of their families. According to the data of the network, 304 families are suffering from conflict in the district. Similarly, 112 people died during the conflict and 29 people are missing.
