It has happened since time immemorial. At the confluence of Rahuganga and Kaligandaki rivers, a large fair is held on the day of Mahashivratri at Galeshwar Temple.

In Galeshwar, apart from worshiping, devotees also offer basah, offer rot, and light Mahadeep.

There is a water tank in the shape of a snake between the rocks next to the Galeshwar Shivalaya temple located on a single huge stone spread over an area of three ropanis. There is a lake that does not dry up for twelve months. Even in the winter drought, the water in the lake does not dry up even in the rainy season. Between the stones, the water of the self-made lake is to remain in winter/rain.
