A teacher has been arrested by the police for raping a 15-year-old girl. According to the police, a 35-year-old teacher working in a school in Dharche village of Jajarkot was arrested on the charge of repeatedly raping the girl since last January.
DSP Indra Prasad Subedi of District Police Office Gorkha said that the accused was arrested based on the complaint filed by the relatives of the victim girl.
The police said that a case was registered against the accused on Monday under the title of extortion and the district court extended the investigation.
