Police have arrested 1 person on the charge of stealing cash from a cafeteria run by Budhishan Gurung and Gita Pokharel located in Gorkha Municipality-10 Chhewetar. Manzil Magrati of Gorkha-10 was arrested by the police. DSP Indra Prasad Subedi of District Police Office Gorkha said that some of the stolen items were found at his house on Tuesday.
According to the police, during the preliminary investigation, on January 17, cash and goods were stolen from the cafeterias of Gurung and Pokharel and the Kharel cafeteria was set on fire. He said that the accused Magrati, who was arrested on Tuesday, is being investigated after registering a case under the title of theft and criminal nuisance on Thursday.
It has been found in the records of the police that the accused has been charged with robbery on 18th June 2071, crime of duty killing, crime of theft on 17th October 2079 and crime against public peace on 31st Baisakh 080.
