Locals should also be alert and aware for the expansion of health services: Chief Minister Pandey

Chief Minister of Gandaki Province Surendraraj Pandey has said that we should be careful and aware for the expansion of local health services.

Chief Minister Pandey said that no citizen should be deprived of health services while addressing the medical service launch program for basic health services held at Taranagar health post of Gorkha municipality-12 on Monday.

"He is also an official given by the constitution to get health services," he said, "we are also trying and aware that at least 10 percent of the total budget should be spent on health, keeping the health sector as the first priority."

He said that when there is a demand for plans for development and construction, there are few plans for the expansion of health services from the public level. "More than 70 percent come because they want a way, less often they come asking for a plan to increase the quality of health," he said, "It seems that local people also need to be careful and aware for the expansion of health services." "We don't go to the hospital until we reach the hospital and need to stay in a bed, we see a situation where we take care of our own disease," he said. He said that resources will be arranged by bringing Mango People Hospital under the state government.
