To celebrate the 'Nara festival' which has been going on for generations, people who were outside the district returned to their village. Other than giving hay and straw to the livestock, the locals did other work. The villagers gathered for 10 days. And celebrated the Nara festival with great fanfare. This festival, which started on January 23, ended on Friday. On the occasion of the festival, Jodi dance, Lama dance, Nanimaiyan dance, horse dance, yak chorne dance based on mythological stories have been performed for 10 days . Local Suk Wahadur Gurung continued the tradition of celebrating Nara festival since generations of Kerouja and said that this year it was celebrated with great pomp. Nara festival is celebrated by two clans (Tanilh and Ngardim) of the Gurung community of Kerouja. Suk Bahadur said that last year, all the villages gathered and celebrated the festival collectively. On the occasion of this festival, Lekali Sirjanshil Youth Club also organized a volleyball tournament. 21 teams participated in the competition. The title of the competition is Dharche-2 Runchetko Juntara is won by creative young club. Along with the win, Juntara received a cash prize of 70,000. Dharche-2 Kerouja's Lekali Sirjanshil Youth Club 'A' received 50,000 and Lekali Sirjanshil Youth Club 'B', which came third, received 30,000 cash prizes.
