Marsyangdi Rural Municipality of Lamjung has started administrative work from its own building. 7 years after the establishment of the rural municipality, the municipality started working from its own building. According to the contract agreement, the construction work of the building, which was supposed to be completed in 2 years, was completed 5 months earlier, and the municipality was able to use the new building on time.
The first floor is disabled friendly and the newly constructed building has 27 rooms on three floors. The building has separate working rooms for the president and vice president, as well as separate working rooms for the secretariat, judicial committee, administrative head and all the subject branches.
According to Arjun Gurung, Chairman of the Municipal Corporation, before this there was an office in Bhulbhule gavis building in Savik, a ward office in Panchvichar Pravi's building and some branches in Khudi Bazar. He said that after the construction of the administrative building, all the branches were moved to one building. As the branches remained scattered, both citizens and employees had problems. Chief Administrative Officer Arjun Chapai said that the Federal Government Local Infrastructure Office and Marsyangdi Rural Municipality have constructed the building at a cost of 50.97 million 66 thousand 706 rupees and 10 paisa at a cost of 60/40.
