The Dhorpatan municipality, which paid more than one and a half lakh rupees per month as house rent, has moved to its own building. The municipality moved its office to the house which was completed last week after the construction started in the financial year 2078/079. 8 years after the announcement of the municipality, Dhorpatan's own building was built.

Acting Mayor Dhan Bahadur Kayat said that the municipality has constructed an administrative building at a cost of 45.9 million 34 thousand rupees with the cost sharing of the federal government. After the construction of the building, Deputy Prime Minister and Urban Development Minister Prakashman Singh inaugurated the building last Monday.
