Tawarak Ahmad Mian, Ward President of Kawasoti Municipality-1, passed away due to a heart attack. Mian collapsed while sitting on a chair at the youth association program in Gandakot on Saturday.

The tenth session of Yuva Sangh Nawalpur was going on at Shri Ram Party Palace in Gaidakot. He gave a welcome speech at the event.

He was sitting on a chair after his speech and he was taken to Chitwan Medical College for treatment. The doctor declared him dead, police said.

Mian, who was elected as the ward president from UML, was 35 years old.
