18-year-old Ram Bahadur Rana of Arughat Village-5 Bhalchope died after falling from a tractor. On Friday morning, the police started an investigation after a young man was found dead in Arughat rural municipality-3 Khursane under the Arughat-Machakhola road section.

DSP Indra Prasad Subedi of District Police Office Gorkha said that during the investigation, it was revealed that the dead youth was riding a tractor number 6 or 9630 from Arkhet towards Machakhola. 

He said that the deceased was identified by his own father. "It has been revealed from the preliminary investigation that he died after being crushed by the rear tire of the tractor when he fell from the tractor," he said. The body has been kept at Arughat Basic Hospital for post-mortem. Siranchok rural municipality-4 Choprak, the tractor driver Ganesh Malbul, 18 years old, has been arrested and the police are investigating the incident.
