55-year-old Post Bahadur Lamichhane of Bhimsen Thapa Rural Municipality-4 Tura Watdanda died after falling from a tree. District Police Office Gorkha Police Inspector Dhuvra Prasad Sharma informed that Rakhser Lamichhane died while cutting a branch of Chautara tree behind the house on Saturday.
'It has been revealed that the incident happened when the tree fell while cutting the branch saying that it was shadowing the house,' he said.
The police team deployed from Arughat, Ila Police Office conducted an initial investigation of the incident and the body was kept at Arughat Basic Hospital for post-mortem. The police also said that the
incident is being investigated.
