2 accused in the incident of kidnapping a 14-year-old girl and taking her to India have been sent to jail pending trial. One of them was sent to a juvenile detention center by the court as he was not old enough. The Lamjung district court sent the 40-year-old man and his wife, who were originally from Motihari, India, and were currently living in Benisi, to jail. The couple's 17-year-old son has been sent to Pokhara Children's Correctional Home.
District Judge Krishna Prasad Paudel's bench on Tuesday sent the couple to jail for pending trial. Their son was ordered to be sent to a juvenile detention center. They have been accused of kidnapping, kidnapping and extortion.
According to police inspector Rajkishore Sah Teli, the girl was taken from Bensihar without the knowledge of her family on November 24th around 8:30 am and was rescued from the Nepal-India border area and the police arrested all three members of the family from that area.
