Ncell has contributed 10 lakh rupees for the construction of the building of Manavseva Ashram Lamjung which is under construction in Benisahar Municipality-9 Pakhatok of Lamjung.
Ncell has handed over a check worth Rs 10 lakh in a program organized on Saturday at Manavseva Ashram located at Benisihar-7 High School Chowk.
Communications and Information Technology Minister and Government Spokesperson Prithvisubba Gurung and Institutional and Regularity Officer of Ncell Dilliram Shrestha handed over a check worth 1 million to Mohan Bahadur Thapa, President of Ashram Bhawan Nirman.
Communication Minister Gurung said that human service is the greatest service and religion. "Let us all try to survive for humanity," he said. When he was the chief minister of Gandaki province, he had helped in 4 places including Lamjung, Kaski, Gorkha and promised to help in the future.
Ncell's Institutional and Regularity Officer Shrestha mentioned that the organization has been supporting education, health and environment as part of its social responsibility. Anita Adhikari, coordinator of
Ashram, said that there is a campaign to write one room worth Rs 10 lakh in the name of the donor and one room will also be built in the name of Ncell. There are currently 24 people in the ashram. The ashram said that 40 percent of the construction work of the ashram has been completed so far.
