85-year-old Top Bahadur Pathak of Gorkha Municipality-6 Kandezhang, who was found injured with head and leg injuries, died in Gorkha Hospital during treatment.
On Thursday, Pathak was found in a bar near his house with injuries on his neck, head and legs.
The police rescued him and took him to Gorkha Hospital for treatment. Police said that he died during the treatment.
Dhruv Prasad Sharma, Police Inspector of District Police Office, Gorkha, informed that a sharp weapon, khukuri and a wool cap were found at the scene. The police said that further investigation is going on regarding the incident.
